Next 11 days in the hinterlands of Himachal where the snow leopard, the ibex, the bharal, the red fox and other denizens of these snow-covered mountains roam. This will be the lowest ever temperature range we will be experiencing, with it dropping to as low as -25 degrees. Just buying the necessary equipment and warm wear itself felt like an expedition already! Writing this from Chandigarh, can’t wait for the great mountains. Also, they call the snow leopard the grey ghost of the mountains, but the mountains themselves look like ghosts in snow. It will also be our first snowfall experience.
